Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Runway, operated by Turney Systems, LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Runway you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Runway.
What Runway is
Runway is a forecasting tool. It projects your cash balance from the figures you enter. It does not connect to your bank and it does not know about anything you leave out.
Not financial, tax, or legal advice
Forecasts are estimates. Their accuracy depends on your inputs and on events no tool can predict. Runway is not a financial, accounting, tax, or legal advisor. You are responsible for your decisions. Consult a qualified professional for advice.
Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email. Keep your email account secure, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 18 and use Runway for business purposes.
Plans and billing
- Free has limits on forecast length and line items, shown in the app.
- Paid plans (Pro and Studio) are subscriptions, billed in advance monthly or yearly through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- Paid plans are available to customers in the United States. The Free plan is available everywhere.
- Prices are shown at checkout. Sales tax or VAT is added where required.
- You can cancel any time from Manage billing in the app. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep paid access until the end of the period you paid for.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The change applies at your next renewal.
Refunds
If Runway is not right for you, email us within 14 days of your first paid charge and we will refund it. After that, we do not refund partial periods unless the law requires it.
Your data
You own the data you enter. You give us permission to store and process it to run Runway for you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Runway. That includes attempting to break or probe the service, overloading it, reselling access without our agreement, or using it for anything unlawful.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Runway available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or remove features. If we remove a paid feature you rely on, we will refund the unused part of your current period.
Ending your account
You can stop using Runway at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. On ending, you can ask for your data to be exported or deleted.
Disclaimers
Runway is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of forecasts.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of Runway. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $50 if you paid nothing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, email account holders. Continuing to use Runway after a change means you accept it.
